Who this covers
This policy describes how spcardetailing (“we,” “us”) handles information when you use our website or contact us about mobile car detailing in Ohio.
What we use data for
We collect and store personal information only to run our business and complete your service—for example: to answer your request, schedule work, give a quote, find your location for the appointment, and follow up about the job.
We do not sell your information.
We do not use it for unrelated marketing, ad profiling, or other purposes outside serving you as a detailing customer, except where the law requires something different.
What we may collect
- Contact and request details you give us (such as name, phone, email, and what you want done).
- Service address or area so we can plan the visit.
- Appointment preferences (for example time window, add-ons, vehicle notes).
- Photos if you choose to send them so we can see condition before we arrive.
- Reviews you submit on our website (including an optional email or phone if you want us to follow up). We moderate submissions before any review appears publicly.
- Contact form messages (name if provided, email or phone, and your message) when you reach out outside of booking.
- Location only if you turn on location in your browser and we ask for it to help with routing—never required to use the rest of the site.
- Usage and diagnostics if you accept optional analytics (aggregated site traffic through Google Analytics as described above).
- Basic technical data the site and hosting need to operate safely (for example IP address and browser type in standard server logs).
Cookies and similar technologies
Our website may store small text files (“cookies”) or similar data in your browser. Some are needed for basic site operation and security. Others are optional and help us understand how the site is used in aggregate (for example—which pages are viewed and general location from IP address at a regional level). Optional analytics only run if you choose to allow them in our cookie banner.
We do not use cookies to sell your personal information.
Google Analytics (optional)
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 (a service from Google LLC) to collect aggregate statistics about visits—for example how many people open a page, roughly where traffic comes from (region/city level), device type, and how people move through the site. This helps us improve the site. It is not a list of visitors by name, and we do not use it to identify you personally unless you separately give us information (for example in a booking form).
Google may process this information on our behalf according to its own terms. You can read more at Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses cookies.
If you decline optional cookies, we do not load Google Analytics for that browser (unless you change your choice later).
Your consent and choices
When you first visit, you can Accept analytics or Decline optional cookies. You can review or change this anytime using Cookie choices in the site footer. If you had accepted analytics and then decline, we may refresh the page so optional analytics stops loading in that browser session.
You can also clear cookies and site data for our site in your browser settings. Some U.S. state laws may give you additional rights over “selling” or “sharing” personal information or targeted advertising; we do not use analytics for those purposes, but you can still decline optional cookies if you prefer.
Who else sees it
We only share information when it is needed to complete the service or run the business—for example, if we must respond to valid legal process. If you accept optional analytics, Google receives technical and usage data as described above. If we add other tools or vendors that handle data for us, we choose partners who treat data responsibly and use it only for the job we give them.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as we need it for scheduling, billing, taxes, disputes, and normal business records. When we no longer need it for those reasons, we delete it or strip it down so it cannot identify you, unless the law says we must keep it longer.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, fix mistakes, or request deletion where the law allows. Contact us using the details below. If you are in the EU or UK, you may also have other rights under local law; we will respond in line with those rules.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to reduce risk.
Children
Our services are not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information on purpose.
Changes
We may update this page from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Please check back occasionally.
Reviews and testimonials
If you leave a review, we store what you submit (name, rating, text, and optional contact details). Reviews are not shown on the website until we approve them. We may use approved reviews on our marketing pages. You can ask us to remove or update a published review by contacting us.
